Many generations of families have worshiped here and still do. The congregation of St Peter's was formed in 1858, and we have been worshiping in our current building since 1921.
Built on the Rock of Jesus Christ, we are an inclusive and caring community of faith in action. We are dedicated to the regular worship of God and service of people everywhere, providing a safe haven of love and fellowship, and nurturing spiritual growth, beginning with children. We welcome everyone regardless of race, colour, gender, or sexual orientation.
We are part of the Eastern Synod within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC). We are also in a full communion relationship with the Anglican Church of Canada
